I’m an award-winning writer and editor, specialising in features and reporting on culture, social issues and feminism. I was an editor at Bustle UK and a staff writer at Stylist Magazine and I now work in a freelance capacity. I’m also the editor of the Peaks of Colour Nature Journal and I’m currently based in Sheffield.

I’ve written for a range of publications, across both digital and print, including Dazed, Stylist, Glamour, and gal-dem, and appeared on radio shows such as BBC Woman’s Hour.

I’m also an experienced host and presenter and have worked on several literary events and festivals, including Wilderness and Fleet Street Quarter Festival of Words, and have interviewed authors such as Kaliane Bradley, Bella Mackie and Funmi Fetto.

My debut book, The Othered Woman: How White Feminism Harms Muslim Women, is due to be released in March 2026.
